Speaker Guidelines
  • Speakers are request to adhere to the allotted time for their presentation as indicated in the program schedule.
  • Presentations should start with a title slide featuring the presentation title, speaker's name, and affiliation, followed by a brief self-introduction and clear, concise content relevant to the conference theme using bullet points and visuals effectively.

  • Tables and graphs should be clear and easily understandable
  • Speakers are requested to send their presentation slides to the program manager at least one month before the conference. Additionally, bring a flash drive or storage with your presentation as a back-up.
  • Please submit your presentation in PPT format. Ensure that your visuals are clear and highly legible.
  • Kindly be aware that slight program changes may occur. Please be present in the meeting room starting from the conference's beginning on your presentation day.
  • Speakers should follow time cues from session chairs, maintain professionalism, and actively participate in Q&A sessions.
  • Providing feedback and leveraging networking opportunities post-presentation are strongly encouraged.
  • For additional support, speakers can reach out to the conference's speaker coordinator.
Poster Guidelines
  • Preparing a poster presentation for a conference involves several critical considerations. Typically, posters should measure 36' x 48' (3 feet x 4 feet), though confirming dimensions with the conference organizers is crucial.
  • Design strategies should focus on ensuring text is readable from 3-4 feet away, using appropriate font sizes (24 points for body text, 36-48 points for headings), and employing simple, sans-serif fonts like Arial or Helvetica.
  • A contrasting colour scheme enhances clarity, and adequate spacing between sections improves readability.
  • Use high-resolution images and relevant graphics, ensuring alignment and organization for a polished look.
  • Printing on-site is not available; presenters must arrange printing in advance.
  • Presenters are requested to remain at their posters throughout the entire poster session to engage with interested viewers.
  • Please ensure you collect your poster by the end of the day; any posters left behind will be disposed of.
Participants Guidelines
  • All participants must pre-register online by [insert deadline date]. On-site registration will be available, but early registration is recommended.
  • Wear your conference badge at all times within the venue. This helps with security and networking.
  • Delegates are requested to participate actively in sessions by asking questions and joining discussions. Respect the speaker and other participants by allowing everyone to contribute.
  • Embrace diversity and promote an inclusive environment. Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Engage with fellow participants, speakers, and attendees during breaks, meals, and networking sessions to exchange ideas and for professional relationships.
  • In case of emergency, follow the instructions of venue staff and organizers. Familiarize yourself with the emergency exits.
